Mr. Nis-Peter Iwersen has 10 years succesful China experience of setting up two green field companies (one in Tianjin and one in Suzhou) and is since 2004 responsible for setting up and managing the Danfoss International Procurement offices (IPO) in China.
In sourcing he has been active engaged in China for 5 years, hereof 3 years in charge of the fast growing Danfoss IPO. Before that as head of procurement of a division with factories in Mexico, China and Demark.
He holds a bachelor degree in Finance and Administration from Denmark.
Target: Reach over 16% in 2008 of our global group spend from China for our world wide factories.
Results: In 2006 reached China spend growth of over 90% with attractive total cost savings

Mark W. Purtilar is the vice president of Global Procurement for ArvinMeritor Automotive, based in Troy, Michigan.
Over a twenty-seven year career, Mark has developed global business expertise in supply chain management and senior level executive assignments in the United States, Mexico, South America, Europe, Asia and Africa. He has progressive senior management, sales and marketing and operations experience as a business unit Vice President and General Manager, Managing Director, Sales and Marketing Director, Business Development, Supply Chain and Purchasing Manager while working at ArvinMeritor and Sara Lee Corporations. He has extensive multi-site, multi-national experience in the US, Europe, South America and Africa. Mark has experience ranging from developing new companies outside of North America, new distribution networks internationally, and consolidating multi-site facilities globally. Mark is regarded as one of the top authorities on global sourcing, and has been the featured speaker at The Marcus Evans Global Supply Chain Summit, and ProcureCon 2006.
Residing in Rochester Hills, Michigan; Mark and his wife, Chesla, have been married for twenty-five years and they are the proud parents of Chet, 21, who attends The New York School of Visual Arts in Manhattan, and Elyse, a high school senior who will be attending Trinity College in Chicago in the fall. They are active in many church, and community activities.
Mark holds a BA in Ancient Middle Eastern History, and an MBA in International Business from Northern Kentucky University, and attended Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Julie Chen heads the Novartis Pharma Low Cost Sourcing program responsible for expanding the supplier base in the strategic emerging markets through proactively establishing supply market knowledge and actively promoting and capturing third party sourcing opportunities in these markets. Prior to her current position, Julie was the Director of Production Purchasing for the Novartis US Pharmaceuticals Operation.
Before joining Novartis in 2002, Julie held increasing responsibilities in Hewlett-Packard/Agilent Technologies in HSE, Facilities and Manufacturing Management. Her experiences included leading a major globalization initiative in offshoring/outsourcing the manufacturing operations, restructuring the global supply chain, developing Asia suppliers and managing the operational and people transition. Maria Prince is Director of Procurement for Limited Brands. Limited owns Victoria Secret Stores, Express Mens, Express Womens, Bath and Body Works, White Barn Candle, The Limited Stores, C O. Bigelow and Henri Bendel. Ms Prince has responsibility for the procurement of New Product and Launch programs for the Victoria's Secret brand. This includes developing and executing the global sourcing plan for new products for Victoria's Secret production and managing the vendor base for the purpose of improving quality, delivery and price. In addition, Ms. Prince provides leadership to the enterprise in the area of Supplier Diversity and serves on Limited Brand's leadership steering committee on values and inclusion.
Ms. Prince had over 19 years of Procurement experience prior to joining Limited Brands in April, 2003; she was a founding member and managed new Business Development for a minority owned e-sourcing software company. She spent 11 years prior to that working for PepsiCo, Inc. in various accounting, supply chain and procurement positions.
Ms. Prince has an M.B.A from the University of Texas at Dallas. She is a CPM (certified purchasing manager), is a member of the board of Directors for the Columbus Urban League serving as the board secretary, Chair of the Columbus Urban League's UYEP (Urban Youth Empowerment Program) advisory council, Vice President of the South Central Ohio Minority Business Board of Directors and is a member of the board of directors for the Women's Business Enterprise National Council. She has also been featured in various publications highlighting her work both within her profession and the community.

(BTO) services for procurement. He was an original member of IBM's procurement executive council during IBM's successful transformation of procurement in the 1990's.
Bill joined IBM in 1982 and has extensive experience in procurement and manufacturing operations. Optical Cable Corporation is the second largest manufacturer of fiber optic cables for the enterprise market in North America, selling its products worldwide in over 70 countries with tens of thousands of end-users.
